First time mom. Gage is 5 months old already. He sleeps in his own room now. I still wake up in the middle of the night to make sure he's breathing. I really love this kid. He smiles at me when he wakes up. I read him "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." Now I want a cookie. Gage sees my cookie and now he's hungry. Sometimes I feel like all I am is a human milk machine. I try and take a nap, Gage won't let me. He's cutting his first tooth, it makes him fussy. Trying to get my pre-pregnancy body back, but I also REALLY like pizza... and fries. I wish I lived at Hogwarts. Trying to keep myself busy, but also trying to get a minute to myself. Want my husband to feel like I was productive today so I put dinner in the crock pot. Being a mom is hard. Gage takes a nap, I miss him. Want to take him for a walk in the stroller...it's 100 degrees out, nevermind.Turn on HGTV, me and Gage LOVE HGTV. It makes me want a house. And to go back to school for interior design. I wish I could do DIY furniture. Maybe I should try it. Gage sits in my lap. I admire his baby chub. It makes me smile. I put Gage on his play mat. He rolls over. I online shop, but I should be doing laundry. Gage is still rolling. Where are you goin bud?! Let's take a selfie and put it on instagram, Gage. I see a funny baby meme, so now I'm looking up other funny baby meme's. I can't stop laughing. Tay comes home and makes Gage laugh. I smile. Those two melt my heart. Being a mom is the best job.
